Raft Building takes place at the beautiful Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor and it's location compliments the activity and lends itself to a brilliant day out on the lake.
We recommend this activity to individuals who want a group challenge and a problem-solving activity. Everyone in the group is included and has their own part to play and it will require lots of communication and co-operative skills to be successful.
The challenge is to design, build and test the constructions of the raft. They are built using barrels, planks, poles, rope and a lot of imagination along the way! It could result in it turning into a very wet activity if their raft doesn’t work so well!
There is so much fun to be had while creating the raft, but testing the raft is always the most fun and exciting! We wouldn’t be surprised if you could hear the laughter from the other side of the lake! Whether your raft is successful or not, you will still have an enjoyable day... if it's successful it is just a bonus!
