Action Cam Mini Pro HD

Adventure Camera for under £40? Yes

I have recently been looking at getting a new GoPro camera. I have a first generation GoPro, and the quality has improved greatly over the years.

I have lots of cameras and i was struggling to justify spending another £300, but whilst surfing the net I came across a company called Chilli Technology from Gloucester. Chilli Technology has developed some Action Sport Cameras for the Adventure Market. The price is excellent, so I thought I would buy a few and test them. They would make brilliant cameras for Climbing, Paddling and Expedition use. The Mini Pro retails for £99, but I was lucky to get one on a 60% discount offer. A video camera for under £40 - YES!

I decided to take it out Coasteering for the reveiw and the results were excellent. You can see from the video below, which was mostly recorded on a Chest Mount. This video was just edited together on my iMac, and nothing was done to enhance the footage.

The camera comes with a waterproof housing and takes a mini SD card for storage. Included in the pack is a headstrap and helmet mounts. The great thing about Chilli Technology cameras is all of the GoPro accessories are compatible.

The Mini Cam records at 720p and has a 120 degree lens for fantastic wide angle shots. It is not only a video camera, it will take still shots and has a photo resolution of 5 mega pixels. This is a great camera for Adventure and Expedition use and you wil not be disappointed for the money. Whats even better is we are giving one away this month (June) on our Facebok Page. Go and find the picture to see how you could win one.

You can also look at Chilli Technologys range on their Website.
