Peru is the destination of choice for a superb blend of culture and adventure. We are delighted to offer this vibrant country brimming with fantastic scenery, wonderful wildlife, colonial cities, deserts, waterfalls, a passionate population and let's not forget the Incan inspiration at Cusco and Machu Picchu!

Your adventure will start in the capital Lima - where you will explore the bustling streets, wonder at the historic architecture and fashionable colonial residences, and feel the throb of this passionate city

After a short taste of life here you will leave for the Incan city of Cusco - a truly inspiring city with its marriage of ancient Incan and modern day architecture, set in the rugged beauty of this part of Peru at 3300m above sea level. No trip would be complete without seeing the breathtaking Machu Picchu, the floating islands of Uros and maybe some trekking in the Cordilla Real of neighboring Bolivia

Your project phase will take place within the small town of Lucre, at either the primary or secondary schools, as well as evening classes in Cusco. The projects here are varied and offer valuable assistance to the impoverished local communities. There are serious problems with education and your efforts, however small, will make a real impact on the daily lives of the local children. While based in Cusco, there are many sights to be seen on horseback or on foot to experience the culture of the Incas.

Having completed your project work, you will be ready for some adventure! You will head to the Amazonian Jungle to stay at the Eco Lodge, then to the shores of the Urubamba river to white water raft up to grade 4/5. Other activities are also available.
